The primary goal of the Adult Education Department is to assist the Pastors in the fulfillment of the vision God has given to them. We are committed to seeking the Lord and to be led by the Holy Spirit in the implementation of all programs, plans and activities that minister to the educational needs of the Body of Christ, and Word of Life in particular.

It is our mission to ensure that the "Standard of Excellence" required of us by God and Pastors Baron and Priscilla McCoy is evident throughout the department and is evident in the lives of the staff and students.   The leadership works prayerfully and collaboratively to address all area of planning and implementation.  

God has, through our Pastors, ordained Word of Life Christian Center to be a training ground. We are honored to serve the Pastors in the fulfillment of the commission to spread the gospel and to transcend all ethnic, religious and geographical boundaries with the word of God.

These classes will help a new believer and/or new member assimilate into active membership and to grow in the knowledge of God. Its purpose is to help the new believer/new member understand his/her role in the membership and the biblical percepts upon which the church is founded and functions.   Our primary goal is to develop every member's potential in becoming a leader.

New members must first register for the following courses:

•  Christianity 101

•  Discipleship 201

•  Word of Life and You

•  Helps Ministry

All books needed for the above-listed courses can be purchased at the church bookstore.

(Please purchase your books before the first day of class).

COURSE RULES AND PROTOCOL

•  Classes begins promptly at 6:00pm on Thursday evenings.  

•  If a member is more than 15 minutes late without prior permission, they will not be given credit for the class.

•  Missed classes must be made up when the next cycle of sessions begins.

•  If more than two sessions are missed, you will be required to repeat the course.
